| ASET Certificate in Horse Care &
Riding |
This
is a course designed for those with little or no experience of horses as a
preparatory certificate for BHS Stage 1. The qualification is achieved through
modular assessment, of which all or selected modules can be taken at the
students’ discretion.

5 Modules-The student can do all 5 or choose which modules they
wish to achieve
- Riding
- Horse Management & Care
- Basic Horse Health
- Saddlery & Equipment
- Riding & Road Safety
Self and Tutor assessment with Module work books.
There is no examination with students gaining recognition of competency when a
task is performed consistently over a period of time.
| After the course & Progression

Students would be able to take BHS Stage 1and progress to BHS
Stage 2.
